Reflections

This is a series that happen as the ingredients and plants come and go through the studio, they are photographed on a piece of black glass and I love the seemingly perfect reflection, the mirror image. For me, this is a metaphor for ’the mirror’ of the self. Where the two intersect is the connection between the inner and outer selves and even through they may look the same, the inner is not necessarily the same as the outer self. A discussion about what we allow others to see and how we really feel. Are we allowed to share it all? Or do we hide behind our conditioning? Do we even know we are doing it? If we are doing it at all?
